My nighttime skin care routine has changed quite a bit. In the summertime my skin is normally more on the combination side however recently I noticed a few dry patches on the sides of my nose and
under the eyes. It prompted me to 'shop the stash' where I fortunately rediscovered my beloved products used in the colder months.
Midnight Recovery Concentrate is Kiehl's best-selling facial oil which is claimed to repair the skin overnight. I apply 2 to 3 drops to an open palm of my hand and gently press the oil into skin. The smell of it is absolutely divine- the key ingredients include Evening Primrose Oil, Lavender Essential Oil, and Squalene botanical lipid which jointly work to restore the natural skin moisture balance, soothe irritated skin, and reduce blotchiness when used consistently. I've used it for about a week now and I can see that my skin feels and looks more conditioned than before. Although it is a facial oil, it's surprisingly lightweight but it takes a little while to absorb into skin; therefore I apply it an hour before I go to sleep to ensure that my bedsheets aren't stained.

After applying the facial oil, I follow with the High Potency Night-A-Mins mineral enriched renewal cream by Origins which is aimed to get rid of the dead skin cells and moisturize it synchronously resulting in a brighter, glowing complexion by the next morning. The first thing I noticed when opening the jar was its divine citrus scent--ah, it's out of this world! The cream texture is a bit thick and greasy feeling on the skin when you apply it on top of the facial oil but it's all worth it in the end. When I wake up the next morning my skin is soft, moisturized and radiant. It's definitely a great intensive cream to use after your serum/facial oil.
Kiehl's Avocado Eye Treatment is my skin savior. I don't know what I'd do without its ability to effectively repair the under eye area. For some reason, I usually get these dry patches under the eyes, and we all know how horrible it looks when you apply a concealer on top of dry skin. Well, thankfully, this magical cream helps me out every single time. The cream texture is thick and it takes a while to absorb into skin. But the good thing about this creme is, not only it effectively moisturizes the under eye area but it also does not migrate into eyes while you sleep which is very important. Moreover, you need just a small amount of product, so it'll last you for quite some time-it's very effective and efficient.

The marvelois trio, as I call it, works very effectively to restore dehydrated, dull skin. Nothing more, nothing less-at least from my point of view. Please let me know if you've tried any of these products, or have any skincare product recommendations. I'd love to hear your feedback.
