9.12.2014  While I do love experimenting with different makeup products, I still prefer to go back to ones that have proven to work well for me. That being said, if I were to run out of it, I'd definitely go back and repurchase whatever the product I'd need at the time.

Maybelline Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser is my new budget beauty find, which I absolutely love. Previously I've used the Bobbi Brown concealer, but since I don't have severe dark circles,  I thought I'd stick with a cheaper alternative that does brighten up the under eye area and minimizes the dark circles and puffiness for half the price, plus stays put throughout the day.

I also love the Origins Plantscription Concealer, which is an absolute 'life-saver' on days when I need a bit of extra coverage plus dry skin. It blends on smoothly and doesn't cling to dry patches, while offering a medium to full coverage that looks natural on the skin.

Also I needed to include the Benefit Cosmetics Eye Bright- I've been searching for an ideal waterline brightener for those days when I haven't got enough sleep and my eyes look extremely tired. While I don't like the 'milky white' pencils for the waterline, the Eye Bright offers a subtle, natural looking pale pink pencil that instantly brightens up the eyes and makes you look more awake.
I haven't used a proper primer for the longest time, so I was happy to discover the Kiehl's Micro-Blur, which not only blurs the appearance of pores and fine lines, but also offers long-term skincare benefits. This product makes my skin look flawless-no joke-it diminishes the appearance of pores and evens out the skin texture in a matter of seconds, while still offering long-term skincare benefits. Friends, I'm sold! Kiehl's advises to use it as a last step of your skin care routine- I usually apply it after my moisturizer/sunscreen. Moreover, it's paraben-free, non-comedogenic, and is suitable for all skin types.

On a day to day basis, the only eyeshadow I use on the lid is the Urban Decay Verve, which is described as 'oyster shimmer' shade- I think it brightens up the eyelid and makes the brown eyes stand out more. The eyeshadow is super soft, silky, richly pigmented, and easily blendable; when applied with the Nars Smudge-Proof Eyeshadow Primer, it stays put all day.

My cult favorite lipstick is the Nars Dolce Vita- it's a gorgeous 'dusty rose' color which is great for everyday wear. The Nars lipstick formulas are absolutely amazing (much better than Mac)-they're sheer, ultra-conditioning, and long-lasting. Having only recently discovered the Nars lipsticks, I think that if I were to go back in time, I'd rather buy one Nars lipstick instead of two Mac ones- this illustrates how much I love them. The only lipstick I own at the time is Dolce Vita, so if you have any suggestions on what to try next, please let me know.
