I  get bored of my usual makeup routine, so I like to switch things up  every now and again by adding a few bits and pieces that I haven't used in a while. Since the weather is chillier now, I’ve converted
back to using liquid foundations, and have also rediscovered an amazing lip gloss I’ve forgotten about, but am absolutely loving at the moment.
Firstly, I’ve been obsessed with the Nars Sheer Glow which I prefer to use in the colder months, simply because it tends to melt off in the warm temperature, so it's perfect for the autumn weather. This foundation gives me a healthy natural glow which is very much appreciated on days when my skin looks rather dull and dry. The amount of coverage it provides is enough to cover up any redness and unevenness without making it look cakey, heavy and unnatural- personally, I don't like to apply more than one layer of foundation anyway. All in all, it's a great foundation that is worth splurging on, hands down.

The only negative thing I noticed is that it can cling to the dry patches; so with that in mind, I make sure to moisturize my skin beforehand and try to avoid applying too much product on the dry areas of the face.

One more thing I’ve been loving is the Maybelline Color Elixir in Rose Redefined which is a gorgeous rosy pink shade. There are so many reasons why I love this lip gloss: it’s hydrating, lasts for hours, and it's so reasonably priced for what it is. It has a great color payoff and goes on evenly thanks to the applicator that helps to distribute it precisely. The lip gloss has a light-weight, non-sticky texture that is long-lasting and leaves lips ultra-shiny. I'm looking forward to getting more of other shades from the 'Color Elixir' range. Well done, Maybelline.
