I hate the feeling of dry hands (I know hate is such a strong word, but really, I do) and especially in this cold weather conditions things can easily get out of hand if you don't take a proper care of them. And what's more, a constant hand washing throughout the day combined with spending time in the freezing cold results in painful, cracking, peeling- and heaven forbid-bleeding hands, with dry cuticles and hangnails (I know, ouch!). Obviously, I thought I should treat the skin on its own terms and got this- L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Creaand Foot Cream for Dry Skin.

The Shea Butter Hand Cream is an ultra-nourishing, rich-textured cream formulated using a great blend of ingredients such as coconut oil, honey, almond extracts, and 20 % Shea butter. It sinks into the skin rather quickly and leaves skin moisturized and protected without feeling greasy or too slippery. Moreover, it's got a light, pleasant herbal scent which fades relatively quickly. I always keep a tube of this creme within arms reach right near the bed, as I like to apply a generous amount before heading to sleep. Overnight, my hands are baby smooth and soft, moisturized, and nourished.

In addition to a hand cream, I got the Shea Butter Foot Cream, which is formulated with natural soothing ingredients (arnica and lavender essential oils) and 15 % Shea butter. I absolutely love the lavender scent of this cream, it's really refreshing! It absorbs rapidly into the skin, leaving the skin soft and smooth. It's not as rich in texture like the hand cream, but still is moisturizing and soothing enough.
