I happen to have an extensive collection of all sorts of liquid foundation— simply because I love to experiment with different textures, finishes and formulas. And you know, as a makeup lover, I think no makeup collection is complete without a M.A.C foundation ( or maybe two or three). So I thought why not share my go-to’s with you.

First up, is the Face&Body foundation, which smooths everything out in a totally natural looking way—meaning  it gives a sheer, natural coverage to enhance the complexion, not mask it. So you'll never end up looking too done up. This is ideal for those of you who don't like your makeup too heavy and cake-y. It is light-weight in texture, super-blendable and long lasting. You really can't go too wrong with this one.  I find the best way to apply it is with a damp sponge ( like the Beauty blender), because it helps blend the foundation seamlessly into your skin without leaving a trace.

Next, is the Studio Sculpt foundation, which offers a medium coverage without that dreaded cake-y aftereffect. The gel-based formula glides on smoothly and blends easily, leaving a flawless satin finish that lasts (when set with a finishing powder)! No wonder it's got such a cult following. I love it, too! My favorite way to apply this foundation is with my fingers or using the Beauty blender.

Lastly- the Studio Fix foundation is my current favorite, as it gives the perfect amount of coverage, leaving your skin looking flawless. It offers a medium, buildable coverage just enough to cover up the skin discolorations (facial redness, in my case) and evening out imperfections. You can get away without applying a concealer afterwards. It's got a natural matte finish that let's your natural shine peek through, which I think gives a hint of youthful dewiness to the look (I passionately dislike the matte flat finish). And yes, like to apply the Studio Fix foundation with my Sigma F80 brush.
Which one will you try?
