Our skin needs a little extra love when it comes to winter, as we’re exposed to the harsh weather all season long (oh, summer, where are you?). The dry winter air and heating indoors, can leave our skin overly dry. That being said, it is best to switch your skin care routine to a slightly richer and moisturizing options for the colder days. Here are my two essentials to keep my winter skin happy, nourished and hydrated.

Let's face it, although it might be tempting to take long, hot showers, a much better option would be to take warm showers with a gentle cleansing oil like the L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil (8.4 fl. oz/ $35).  This makes your skin super soft and nourished as it is formulated with a unique blend of almond oil, grape wine, rosemary, and nourishing lipids.  It doesn't lather up too much (which is good for my sensitive skin) and has got a subtle, pleasant scent.

Then, as you finish showering, make sure to give your hair and body a little extra TLC with the L'Occitane Fabulous Oil (3.4 fl. oz/ $36). Apply this luxurious light shea dry oil while skin is still quite damp. This fabulous oil is formulated with a blend of shea, baobab, sunflower and carrot-seed oils to leave body supple and soft, hair glossy and silky. And yes, when I say that it provides major nourishment for the skin, it seriously does. When I had super dry hands, this was the only thing that healed them. Life saviour. Plus, it smells lovely!
