I know I'm a little late jumping on the Marc Jacobs Beauty bandwagon, but (as cliché as it sounds) better late than never. Am I right? That said, last week I finally took the plunge and bought an eye shadow palette which I've been eyeing up for quite a while called The Dreamer. It is a gorgeous warm-toned palette, which I thought would be perfect for the upcoming warmer months.

The palette design is very modern, simple and chic. I love the nice sleek packaging that makes it travel-friendly; it doesn't take up too much space in my makeup bag/drawer.  Plus, the case comes in a little dust bag and includes a plastic sheet that keeps the mirror clean from eyeshadow fallout. And, most importantly, it has a good-size built-in mirror which comes really handy as well.

This palette contains seven eyeshadow colors: three matte and four shimmery finishes. I'm really impressed with the formula quality. All shades are highly pigmented (well, except #1 Baked Crème Matte), easily blendable, and creamy in texture. One quick swipe across the lid and you're set. It's that good. The eyeshadows wear well throughout the day, but I would still recommend using a primer with this. I find that when layered over NARS Pro Prime it doesn't crease, smudge or fade and basically lasts all day.

All in all, I think this palette is definitely well worth checking out if you want to treat yourself to something special.
