By now I know a thing or two about moving. In the past five years,  I moved four times in total (and if you have done this as well - kudos to you!). An exhausting process of packing and unpacking always forces you to reevaluate and discard/donate the things that you don’t need. Some day I hope I will lead a more minimalist life, but I assure you, I’m making gentle progress. I digress.

During the process of moving to London, I packed a makeup bag full of current beauty essentials. On a daily basis, I don’t wear a tinted makeup base, but instead, use the Perricone MD Instant Blur, which helps to minimize pores and neutralize the skin redness. I also noticed that the lines under my eyes are less pronounced when I apply it. To be frank, if I had the chance, I would purchase everything from the Perricone MD’s No Makeup range. On the other hand, if I’m in the mood for a tad of something I’ll use the Erborian BB Cream in Nude. I love that it has natural buildable coverage and makes the skin look youthful and fresh.  In general, I’m super impressed with the Erborian products, and hopefully next time I’ll get the CC cream - one with less coverage but more illuminating properties. In terms of concealer, nothing can replace my reliable Urban Decay Naked Concealer in the shade Light Warm. It’s very brightening under the eyes.
For a natural-looking highlight, I typically use the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop on cheekbones and down the bridge of the nose. To take it up a notch, I use the Fenty Beauty Killawatt highlighter duo in the shade Mean Money & Hustla Baby. Man, I’m obsessed with this shimmery peachy gold shade.

I use the Charlotte Tilbury Rock 'N' Kohl in Bedroom Black to accentuate the eyes- it’s ultra long-lasting and jet black. Next time though, I would go for the brown shade as it looks a tad more natural. Next, to define the eyebrows, I’m back to using the MAC Eyebrow Pencil in the shade  Lingering- it's such a good match for my eyebrow colour and does a great job filling in the brows.
My forever favourite face brush is the Tom Ford Bronzer brush. It's very versatile as you can use it for either bronzer, powder, or blush. Also, the Real Techniques highlighter brush is super soft and lovely to use with the Fenty Killowat highlighter. It actually reminds me of the Fenty Beauty Cheek Hugging Highlighter brush, but at half the price.
For my graduation, I treated myself to a new eyeshadow palette from Charlotte Tilbury in the shade Exagger-Eyes. It’s a gorgeous rose-gold palette that is meant to accentuate and brighten up the eyes. The cool thing is that you can tailor it for both day and night looks. My everyday go-to lip is the Fenty Beauty in Fu$$y. It’s such a beautiful shimmery berry shade, and it makes my lips look super juicy. I also really enjoy using the Clinique gloss in Adore You. Finally, the perfume of choice as of late has been the Maison Louis Marie in 04, which I always get compliments on when I wear it. The funny thing is that I constantly struggle to recall the title when I get asked about it. It's a lovely fresh woody scent.
